FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
The best way is through my inquiry form. Send through a description of what you're after, some reference photos, a rough idea of size, your contact number and a few dates that work for you. The more detail the better — it means I can get back to you faster and we can hit the ground running.

I do book out a few months ahead depending on the time of year, so the sooner you reach out the better. And before you do — have a look through my portfolio. I tattoo a lot of different styles but there are some things I don't do, and I'd rather be upfront about that than waste your time.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?
18. No exceptions. It's illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 in Victoria, regardless of parental consent, and we take that seriously. Bring valid photo ID to your appointment — every client, every time.
DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT IF I DECIDE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes. A $200 deposit is required to lock in your appointment, usually sorted after your free consultation. It comes off the final price or your last session if you're doing a multi-session piece. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, so please make sure you're ready to commit before booking.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?
Sleep well the night before, eat a proper meal before you come in, and drink plenty of water. It sounds simple but it makes a real difference — people who turn up tired, hungry and dehydrated are the ones who struggle.
Skip the drinks the night before too. Alcohol thins your blood for up to 24 hours, which means more bleeding, and that affects how the ink goes in and how it heals. If you feel lightheaded during the session, let me know and have something sugary on hand.
DOES IT HURT?
Yeah, it does. But your body releases endorphins when you're in the chair and most people find it a lot more manageable than they expected. Some people actually enjoy it. You'll be fine.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?
You'll get a printed aftercare card before you leave with everything you need to know. The basics: keep it clean, keep it moisturised, out of the sun and away from pools and the ocean until it's fully healed. Don't pick at it, no matter how tempting.
HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?
The surface heals in two to three weeks, but your skin is still regenerating underneath for several months after that. Treat it well and it'll look after itself.
